Account deletion and data requests
Last revised October 8, 2026
How to delete your account or your workspace in the app, what happens and when, how to cancel, and what remains afterwards.
Wiramo publishes this text in English, Russian and Spanish. The English version is the governing text; the other two are translations provided for convenience. Where they differ, the English version controls.
1. Delete your account in the app
Every person with a Wiramo account can delete it themselves, in the app, without contacting anyone: open the menu, choose My account, then Delete account. You confirm with your password and by typing your email address.
If you are the last owner of a workspace, you choose one of two things: hand the workspace to another active member, who becomes the owner straight away, and delete your own account; or delete the whole workspace, which you confirm by typing its name. Before deleting a workspace, its owner can optionally download a copy of its data (section 6).
Wiramo operator accounts are retired by Wiramo, not through this page.
2. What happens right away
- You are signed out on every device at once, every session ends, and you cannot use Wiramo while the deletion is pending.
- Your devices stop receiving notifications, and password-reset links you were sent stop working.
- For a whole workspace: every member is signed out and cannot use it, pending invitations are revoked, and customer links to estimates and invoices stop working.
- A confirmation email is sent if email is configured. Whether or not it arrives, the deletion is scheduled.
3. The scheduled date, and cancelling
Deletion is scheduled for 30 days after you confirm, measured on Wiramo's servers in UTC; the app shows the exact date and time.
Until that moment you can cancel: sign in with your email and password, and choose Cancel deletion. Signing in while a deletion is pending does not open your account; it only offers the choice to cancel. Only the owner who deleted a workspace can cancel that deletion; its members cannot.
Cancelling keeps your account (or workspace). It does not undo everything: an ownership hand-over stays in place, every device has to sign in again, and revoked invitations and customer links have to be sent again.
At the scheduled moment the deletion runs automatically, normally within minutes. If a step fails, for example because a service it needs is unavailable, it is retried until it succeeds, so completion can occasionally be later; the time it actually completed is recorded.
4. What is erased
- Your account
- Your account and its personal data are permanently erased from Wiramo's active systems: your profile, sign-in sessions, devices and notifications, and the registration, invitation and sign-in records that carry your email address. Records you created for your workspace, such as jobs, clients, estimates and invoices, belong to the workspace and stay; your name is removed from them.
- A whole workspace
- The workspace and everything in it are permanently erased from Wiramo's active systems: every member's account, its clients, jobs, leads, calendar, estimates and invoices with their drafts, photos and other uploaded files, notifications, invitations, and its access and billing records. Wiramo makes no call to any payment provider when it does this.
A deletion request made through the older online form, which asked for an account to be deactivated, is never treated as a request to erase anything.
5. What remains afterwards
- An anonymous completion record: a random identifier, the dates, whether an account or a workspace was deleted, whether the completion email was accepted for delivery, and a fingerprint (hash) computed from those facts and from counts of what was removed - the counts themselves are not kept. It contains no name, email address or content, and cannot be linked back to you.
- Database backups kept by our hosting provider. Daily snapshots are kept for 6 days. Some older snapshots also exist and their expiry has not yet been confirmed, so no date is promised for them.
- Uploaded files are deleted directly from storage. That storage has no automatic expiry of its own.
- Our email and hosting providers keep their own logs on their own schedules; how long, for this service's account, has not yet been confirmed. Wiramo's own logs do not record names, email addresses or content for a deletion.
6. A copy of your data
A workspace owner can download a limited export of the workspace's operational records from Settings, as a JSON file, at any time and before deleting a workspace if they wish. It covers the business profile, team, clients, leads, services and price rules, jobs with their items, notes, payments and photo details, and estimates and invoices with their lines; it does not include the photos, logos or other files themselves, sign-in credentials, audit records or device data, and a very large workspace can exceed its size limit. Estimates and invoices can also be downloaded as PDFs from inside the application. Exporting is optional and is never required before deleting.
7. Customers of a business, and other requests
If you are a customer of a business that uses Wiramo, your details were entered by that business and it decides what its records contain: contact that business. Wiramo cannot delete another business's records on a third party's say-so; a request that reaches Wiramo instead is routed to the workspace that holds the record.
